How we work

At Podium, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is not just about delivering high quality training courses, but working with our clients and partners to generate enthusiasm for and embed a culture of learning within their organisations. 

Our approach brings together excellence in business with excellence in sport to create a unique package.  By working closely with Skills Active, the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning and the lead sports organisations across the UK we ensure that we are at the cutting edge of policy and practice in sport, leadership and management training.


Working with you

We adapt our approach to meet your needs, looking at your specific issues, usually in an initial one to one meeting.  Our consultants undertake individual and organisational training needs analyses (TNA) to help reveal where gaps occur between existing competencies and future goals.  We then design the most appropriate training to get the best out of your staff.  Our training solutions are built to improve workplace productivity and performance and are mapped against the National Occupational Standards for the sector.


Bespoke training

Delivery is always interactive, participative and paced at exactly the right level for your employees, reflecting the learning styles of professionals who work in the sector.  Each course will result in delegates taking an action plan back into the workplace to develop their skills.

Our diverse team of handpicked qualified, skilled and experienced tutors, facilitators and psychologists offer a variety of approaches to support the development of teams and individuals.
