Case Study – England Netball Training Programme, 2010-2011
We worked with England Netball to create a practical and affordable solution which met the identified training needs of middle managers. England Netball initially opted for a series of 9 one-day training courses delivered as a structured programme.
The following topics were included within the programme:
- Time management skills and techniques
- How to delegate effectively
- How to prioritise
- Performance management of staff
- Communicating with staff and giving feedback
- Addressing problems and issues
- Delivering engaging and effective presentations
- Creating partnerships
- How to influence and contribute to partnerships
- Practical and strategic ways of working with the media
Following the programme, Podium's tutor Sam Marshall returned to Hitchin to deliver a further one day workshop for Regional Managers on Managing and Motivating staff.
